Our People

Dr. Munga is a retired Deputy Secretary in the Government of Kenya. He holds an Honorary Doctorate in Business Administration (Honoris Causa) from United Graduate College and Seminary. He is a Certified Public Secretary with vast experience in both public and private sector management. He also holds the Yara Prize for a Green Revolution in Africa Laureate 2009 award. Dr. Munga is the former Chairman of Equity Bank Limited, former Chairman of National Oil Corporation of Kenya (NOCK), Chairman of Equatorial Nut Processors Ltd and Chairman of Fresho International Limited. He is an enterprising businessman and runs the Pioneer Group of Schools.

Mr. Wandera holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Master of Business Administration Degree, both from the University of Nairobi. He has extensive experience in insurance and is also a fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII). He is the immediate former Principal Executive Director (Business), Britam Holdings Plc, overseeing the International Division of six countries and two insurance companies in Kenya, having retired on 31st December 2019. He is also a past Chairman of the Association of Kenya Insurers and a former Governor of the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA).

Mr. Nnaggenda has experience in the banking sector having worked for Standard Chartered and Banque Africa (formerly an affiliate of Bank Belgolaise) in Uganda. Tanzania and at the Standard Chartered Head Quarters in London. He also worked where he held various which included: Chief Information Officer, Head of Planning, Projects and Process re-engineering, Head of Africa Operation Risk Management Project. He made valuable contribution to key value adding technology products rollout that enabled the banks surpass their business objectives.

Dr. Mworia is an experienced Banking & Insurance Executive, and an experienced advisor on Trade & Development Policy. He is the founding board member of former REAL Insurance Tanzania Ltd. He is the Chairman of Computer Corporation of Tanzania Limited. He has served in many other boards such as Akiba Commercial Bank, International Information and communication for Development, and Social Action Trust Fund

Mr. Laiser is an enterprise development economist whose areas of expertise are Small & Medium Enterprise development, micro- finance, industrial development and management, and technology transfer. He spent 25 years working on SME development as a Manager and consultant in Tanzania and other SADC countries. He is currently the Director-General of Small Industries Development Organization (SIDO).

Mrs. Warioba has extensive experience in the social services profession and her career started off in the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare as a Social welfare officer. She has worked as a Social Counsellor with UNHCR and has travelled extensively to refugee camps. She holds a Higher Diploma in Social Sciences and Social Worker from Social Academy of Breda, Holland.

Mr. Aosa is the Director, International Insurance Business at Britam Holdings Plc. He holds a Master degree in Business Administration (Marketing) and a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Administration both from University of Pune. He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) and Associate of the Insurance Institute of India (AIII) and is a Chartered Insurer. He has served in various roles in the Company including General Manager, Marketing Manager.
